Oster 2023 DISTINGUISHED SCHOOL AWARD
I am very excited to share Oster is being recognized as a 2023 California Distinguished School. The California Distinguished Schools program recognizes schools for their excellent work in one of two categories: closing the achievement gap and achieving exceptional student performance. Oster is one of five elementary schools in Union School District being recognized this year. This is an exceptional achievement and all of Team Oster- staff, students and the community should be proud.
A small group of staff members will be attending the California School Recognition Program Awards Ceremony on Thursday, February 16, 2023, in Anaheim, California. Presented by the California Department of Education, the ceremony is a celebratory day to recognize each school's outstanding achievements. We will have our own celebration at Oster later in the Spring.
Congratulations to everyone and thank you for always being our partners in education and inspiration.
