Literacy With a STEM Twist: Novel Engineering
For Grades K-12
1. Read a book.
2. Identify a problem to solve.
3. Design a solution to the problem.
Here's an example: Read Chicken Little. One problem in this book is that Chicken Little is afraid the sky is going to fall. STEM Challenge: Using materials from around the house, design a shelter that will protect Chicken Little in the event the sky does fall.
