Arroz con leche (Recipe)
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup rice
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 12 oz evaporated milk
- 1 la lechera (14 oz sweetened condensed milk)
Directions
- In a small saucepan, combine the water, rice and cinnamon. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15-20 minutes or until water is absorbed
- stir in milk and any other desired alternatives (raisins, blueberries,etc) Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10-15 minutes or until thick and creamy, stirring frequently. discard cinnamon. serve warm or cold
