Genetic Technology

Claim
Genetic technology is a very new thing in the science world, but if they perfect the science of genetic engineering it could be very useful in most areas, agriculture, humans and other animals. In recent years this kind of technology has advanced rapidly, changing the way we will eat in the near future.
Genetic Engineering.
According to the Grace Communications Foundation, genetic engineering is ¨the modification of an organisms genetic composition by artificial means.¨ This means that genetic engineering is the process of changing a trait or gene and transferring it into a completely different organism. Making the modified organism a GMO.
Recombinant DNA :
DNA that has been formed artificially by combining constituents from different organisms.
Constituents :
Being a part of a whole.
Recombinant DNA
Recombinant DNA can be occur naturally or it can be made artificially. If made artificially, according to the Google dictionary, it can be formed by taking pieces from different living things to make one whole strand of DNA. According to news-medical rDNA (recombinant DNA), just like regular DNA can make recombinant proteins. In use for humans recombinant DNA can be used for making new proteins that people may not have due to diseases or just naturally. Mainly for keeping men and women healthy. A few ways of making recombinant DNA are, choosing a host and cloning the "vector" and "screening".
Genetic Engineering in Agriculture
According to Union of Concerned Scientists, genetically modified crops, (GMC's) are changed similar to other organisms, but they are modified usually to give the plant a new trait that it would not have originally. Similar to genetic engineering with humans or animals. Genetically modiying plants can create disease ending food, or "stronger" food for all types of weather.
In Conclusion
In advancing genetic technology, modifying plants, animals or humans is somewhat similar. When it comes to recombinant DNA it can be extremely useful for humans, creating or multiplying any kind of proteins that that person may not have. For humans it is usually for looks or a genetic "misfortune" of that person. For plants it is usually to modify it to make it the way we need it to be, making it different for each situation. Genetic engineering keeps changing and advancing, later who knows what will be possible.
