News and Reminders
- Student holidays are December 22nd - January 8th! We wish your family happy holidays and look forward to their return on January 9th.
- Lunch visitors: Due to overcrowding in the cafeteria, we will have assigned days for lunch visitors beginning when we return in January. This will allow parents/families adequate space to sit at the parent table. Please view this schedule for your assigned grade level day(s). We understand that there will be exceptions, such as birthdays and out of town family members, etc. We just ask that these exceptions be cleared in advance by an administrator, by calling the front office and speaking to a secretary. Exceptions every day will not be allowed.
- Klein ISD is undergoing a "Curriculum Refresh!" You can read about it here.
- If you are not receiving flyers from Peach Jar, you can visit their website and sign up manually. You can also opt out of certain types of flyers to lesson the number coming to your inbox. We suggest you at least accept school and PTO flyers so that you don't miss any important news.

Buffalo Brags
- Lisa Hales, our fantastic librarian, is doing some really cool stuff in the library! She is recording her lessons ahead of time for students to watch in class. When they come to library, the time is spent exploring and creating. The library sure is a different place than it was when we were all kids!
- The December assemblies were a huge success due in large part to the awesome behavior of our students. They have really learned how to be respectful audience members!
- Speaking of performances, way to go 4th grade students and musicians on their holiday shows! I was super impressed!
- A big shout out to our 5th grade announcement crew, who sets up, leads, and cleans up after the video announcements every morning. They might as well be professionals!
- Our P2P wall by in the front hallway is packed with students recognized by their teachers for exhibiting characteristics of the Klein ISD Profile of a Learner! We are so proud of our creative, innovative, collaborative students! These will be removed and awarded to students at the upcoming P2P awards assemblies, and we will start over rewarding more students for the second semester!
- Our first P2P Awards ceremonies went very well! We are working hard to teach our students our shared vision vocabulary so that they can become pathway explorers, equipped scholars, values driven leaders, and forever learners.
