Cake Decorating for Tweens
Join us for a fun class where students will learn a variety of techniques to make swirls, shells, ruffles and an assortment of flowers and leaves. We will cover how important icing consistency is, tricks for getting a smooth surface, as well as bag striping to achieve a striking look on your cupcake creations. This 3-hour class will cover everything a young baker needs to know to start baking for their family and friends. All the tools, supplies, cupcakes and frosting are provided

In this 3-hour class, the students will learn the basics of working with fondant and gum paste. We will cover handling, preparing, storing, tinting and rolling fondant. We will then cover ruffling, and imprinting and the use of cutters, ejectors and molds. Students will learn how to make blossoms, daisies, roses, a calla lily and leaves. They will learn how to add curves and “movement” to your flowers and leaves to create a lifelike look.
All the tools, supplies, fondant and gum paste, and cupcakes and frosting are provided.
