Learning Targets
Readers Workshop:
We will review the power of text evidence and background knowledge when reading so that we can use these tools to draw conclusions. I'll know I have it when I can combine text clues with my schema to make inferences.
Writers Workshop:
We will explore the features of non-fiction text so that we can gather information to help us review our book. I'll know I have it when I can begin to develop ideas to plan a book review over a non-fiction text.
Social Studies:
We will discuss Earth's resources so that we can understand how people use resources to meet their needs. I'll know I have it when I can read and answer questions about the different types of resources in my community and in our country, and how these resources affect agriculture and industry.
Math Workshop:
We will analyze word problems so that we can determine what multiplication equation should be used to solve them. I will know I have it when I can correctly solve multiplication story problems.
