Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs created the Apple company. He made new computers, but as the new technology came out, it had a lot of issues. The devices contained problems and bugs. Consumers were disappointed. Steve Jobs had trouble with his workers; many disagreed with his ideas and approach to technology development. This caused Steve Jobs to leave Apple. Later, he said that getting kicked out of Apple was one of the greatest things that happened in his life, so it ended up having a positive effect on his life and career.

In 1995 Steve Jobs created the company NeXT Inc. His new company ran into trouble, and in 1996, Apple bought NeXT. He returned to work at Apple and realized that Apple was having a tough time too. So, he helped Apple invent the iPod and the iPhone, which were hugely successful with consumers all over the world.
More Perseverance
My Nanny was in an accident at work, and it resulted in the loss of her right leg 2 inches below the knee. After the accident, Nanny experienced a lot of fears and concern about her future and being mobile. Some people might have seen that as a major setback in life, but not my Nanny. She met this adversity head on and has persevered through the experience. She now uses a prosthesis to help her walk.
