ILLINOIS REPORT CARD: Naperville 203's Academic Proficiency & Growth Suggest Recovery Toward Pre-Pandemic Performance
All 21 of Naperville 203’s K-12 schools have been deemed “Exemplary” or “Commendable” by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE), with new data showing students' academic growth is rebounding and on track to full recovery following the learning loss associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
New District Website Launching This Weekend!
The new Naperville 203 district website has a more modern design and improved navigation, along with increased capabilities to tell the district's story. The school websites are also in the process of a redesign to match the district page.

Please join us for a powerful discussion about what it means to "BELONG in 203" at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, at Naperville North. Dinner will be served at no cost and raffle prizes will be awarded!
Hoops 4 Healing Tournament
Naperville North High School is co-hosting the Hoops 4 Healing Tournament to benefit Edwards Hospital and Camp Hope. Games will be played November 21 - November 25 with all proceeds going directly to Camp Hope!

This week Chef Natalia celebrates National Potato Day, as well as Halloween, by creating fun Halloween themed snacks. There are so many creative ways to dress up a baked potato. Click below to take a look at some of her creations!
WSCP's Anual Harvest Week Food Drive
Pack the Pantry during Harvest Week to help West Suburban Community Pantry (WSCP) provide holiday meals to our neighbors facing hunger throughout DuPage and Will Counties. Donations collected at various locatoins November 4 - 10.
Together, we can offer food and hope to children and families in need this holiday season.

November 1, 2022: Test Taking Skills / SAT Updates / Reducing Test Anxiety
Teenagers often wonder about the role of college admission tests and how to best prepare for them. This presentation will focus on tips and techniques for studying smarter. Matthew Pietrafetta will share updates on the April SAT, which is offered to all Glenbard juniors, and he will bust myths about standardized testing. Participants will learn about the content of the exam, how to prepare and the best strategies to use when taking the test.

November 2, 2022: Roots of Success: Shaping Executive Function Skills in Early Childhood
Following instructions, staying focused and using self-control can be better predictors of future academic and social emotional success than traditional IQ tests. These skills help children pay attention and control their thoughts, actions and feelings.
During the two webinars, Dr. Stephanie Carlson will demonstrate how adults can foster reflection and executive function skills in early childhood to set up children for success in life.

Halloween Pet Parade & Festival
Head to downtown Aurora this Saturday, November 29 at 11 a.m. for the Halloween Pet Parade in support of Alive’s Drop-in hours for teens! Come with your favorite costumes, and your pet’s too! There will be a costume contest, crafts, and more. The cost is $25 per family.
Between the Lines Bookclub for Teens!: 5-9 Graders are invited to Alive to have educational and engaging discussions about books that they WANT to read, not books that they're obligated to read! They will also participate in a community service project! #FREE #RegistrationRequired
