Spirit Grants by School
Dear DPM Families,
Next week we turn the calendar to May, which means we will be starting our ABC Countdown through the end of the school year. Beginning Tuesday, students are invited to dress up for the theme associated with each of the 26 letters of the alphabet leading up to our last school day together on June 5th.
May also brings our end of the year festivities. Students will have special activities, field trips, awards ceremonies, and other fun to come to celebrate another great school year with their classmates and teachers. Stay tuned to our Parent Newsletter over the coming weeks for details on these special events.
With all of the fun on the horizon, our students still have plenty of learning left too. On Wednesday and Thursday, students will take Spring MAP assessments to demonstrate the growth that has been made over the course of the school year. We greatly appreciate your support with stressing the importance of these progress monitoring opportunities to your children. These assessment results allow the administrative team to determine the optimal schedule placements and supports as we begin planning for next year.
Sincerely,
Megan Eigenrauch, 5/6 Principal
Sam Paulsen, 7/8 Principal
