Sustainable Building Feature: Sun Central System
Sage Gardens is the first multi-family residential building in the world to utilize the Sun Central System™ – one of the latest innovations in sustainable design. The Sun Central System is a revolutionary sunlighting solution that provides natural daylight to previously inaccessible areas within buildings.
It saves energy by displacing electric lighting whenever the sun shines, reducing electric lighting up to 75% of daytime hours, and improves living environments by delivering vitamin-promoting, glare-free sunlight into buildings.

7 Ways to Save Energy and Money at Home
It’s a win-win situation. Save energy at home and get rewarded for it on your next electricity, energy or heating bill. Here are a few easy steps on how to save money at home by making your house more energy-efficient.
1. Set-up a Charging Station
Many electronics still consume electricity (known as phantom electricity) even when they are turned off or on standby mode. Unplug your devices when they are not in use or even better, plug your devices to a central power bar to easily switch your devices on and off.
2. Program Your Thermostat
Programming your thermostat could lead to savings of up to 15% on your heating bill. Set your thermostat at 17 °C when you’re sleeping or out of the house and back to 20°C when you’re at home. Extra tip on how to save money and energy? Don’t forget to lower your thermostat before you jet off on vacation!
3. Install Ceiling Fans
Ceiling fans not only cool the house during the summer, but can also circulate warm air during winter months. Remember, fans are meant to cool people, not rooms, so be sure to turn it off when you’re not in the room.
