Report Cards/Conferences
Today is the last day of 2nd trimester! Teachers will be working on report cards soon and will be contacting parents/guardians who they would like to have a conference with. If you are not contacted by your child’s teacher for a conference, then that means a conference is not required at this time. If you would like to set up a conference with your child’s teacher, you may contact them directly through email to set up a conference time. Friday, March 15th is a minimum day (12:30 dismissal) to allow for parent teacher conferences. Report Cards will go home with students on March 15th.
LCAP Survey
We are in the process of developing the 2024/25 LCAP. As we review this plan, it is important that we get meaningful feedback from all educational partners in the district. As parents, you are one of our most important partners and we need your honest and constructive feedback. To help the district in this process, a survey has been created. Please complete this online survey by Friday, March 8th : https://forms.gle/V5eCxqWUQpZUsfHFA
Wildcat Run
Marcum Parents’ Club is gearing up for one of their biggest fundraisers of the year. The students will be participating in the Wildcat Run on March 8th. Wildcats should continue collecting pledges from family and friends. Pledge sheets and envelopes were sent home a few weeks ago, and you can still sign your child up to collect online pledges if you haven't already done so. This is always such a fun event for our Wildcats and a profitable fundraiser that helps Marcum Parents’ Club continue to support our school in a variety of ways. We hope parents will join us to help cheer on our runners and help out with the event! Sign up here to let us know if you're able to help out! The schedule for the Wildcat Run is: PK 12:45-12:55, TK-2 1:10-1:25, 3-5 1:40-2:00, 6-8 2:15-2:35.

Basketball
Congratulations to our Wildcat girls who took 1st Place in the East Nicolaus FFA Middle School Basketball Tournament! Their performance on the court made us so proud! They worked hard, played clean but aggressive, and displayed some amazing talent! They made a great team!!
Our Wildcat boys took home 2nd place at the East Nicolaus FFA Middle School Tournament! We couldn’t be prouder of how well they played and how they presented themselves on the court! They played hard, worked together, never gave up, executed great plays on both defense and offense, and had some amazing shots! Way to go, Wildcats!!!
DC/NYC Trip Parent Information Night (6th and 7th Grade Parents)
Mrs. Lucas will be hosting a Parent Information Night for current 6th/7th grade parents who are interested in having their child attend the DC/NYC Trip in 2025! We'll be transitioning to doing this trip every other year, so we are including both 6th and 7th grade families for this information night as there will not be a trip in 2026. This meeting will take place March 28th at 5:30pm.
