Mentor Canes
Mentor Canes is a school-based mentoring program. Mentoring builds self-esteem and confidence. Research shows that long-term mentoring improves school attendance, grades, and graduation rates! The Mentor Canes program is just getting started, so please call or email Dr. Jackson if you have any questions.
Are you interested in becoming a mentor?
Mentoring is one of the easiest and biggest ways to give back to our community. A mentor has the opportunity to truly change the life of a child. Mentors are paired with children in Kindergarten through 12th grade, we ask that you commit to 1 child, for up to 1 hour per week, for 1 school year. Please call Maria Davis at 770-387-4723 for more information.
