Overview of The University of Southern California
With a strong tradition of integrating liberal and professional education, USC fosters a vibrant culture of public service and encourages students to cross academic as well as geographic boundaries in their pursuit of knowledge.
Programs for Undergraduate Students
Graduate and professional studies at the University of Southern California
To meet the challenges of the 21st century, USC places a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches to learning. Academic departments and professional schools offer numerous advanced degrees that integrate two or more fields of knowledge.
As a private university, USC combines the independent spirit and individual attention of a smaller institution with the extensive programs and facilities of a major research university. Our location in the thriving international center of Los Angeles, a major hub of the Pacific Rim, provides a wealth of contacts and professional opportunities.
Available Financial Aid & Scholarships
When coordinating scholarships, our office makes every attempt to preserve any university need-based grant you may have been awarded. In most cases, a new merit scholarship received after your initial Financial Aid Summary will reduce the amounts of Federal Work-Study and federal loans. The total financial aid may also increase, allowing your Stafford loan to assist with the family contribution. In some cases, however, the amount of university need-based grant will be reduced.
