First Day of School:
We start on Monday, August 12 and are ready for our #RiceRavens to return home! Don't forget that we are allowing parents and students to come in to the building from 7:50-8:45.
Also, PLEASE PLAN A MEETING PLACE WITH YOUR CHILD FOR AFTER SCHOOL IS OUT. We have many lost parents and want to prevent this from happening. You need to let your child know where you will meet him or her when students are dismissed.
Although elementary students are dismissed by mode of transportation--busses, carpool, or walkers-- this is not the case in middle school as all students are typically dismissed at once.
On the first day of school, we will be releasing our 6th graders first around 3:25.
Check Your Schedule for Updates!
Please check for schedule updates over the weekend. Schedules update at midnight each night. Remember, requesting a schedule change does not mean it can be made. We do our best to accommodate elective changes that are possible!
Print your schedule before the first day as we will not have hard copies of schedules.
We look forward to seeing all of you Monday!

Traffic
Please refer to the Annual Traffic Tips reminder as well as the Traffic Drop-Off Plan prior to the start of the school year. There are some complexities that we will help train drivers on from the first part of the school year, especially with the north entrance/exit and parking lot. We will also be using the front lot for buses, so no carpool will be allowed until the buses have left the driveway.
Attention Band & Orchestra Students!
Students:
Please DO NOT bring your instruments to school on the first day.
Thanks,
Jason Tucker
