The Panther Periodical - March 4th, 2024
Good Evening Eastside Community,
Saturday we had the opportunity to celebrate the life and legacy of Coach Johnson. Multiple individuals testified to his sharp thinking, his deep passion for nature and UT football, and his even deeper love for his family and friends.
We will continue to work to maintain Coach Johnson’s legacy on campus. The family graciously indicated they want to carry on his legacy through involvement with students on campus. Additionally, our CAC is set to vote later this month on renaming B123 to the Brian William Johnson Conference Center.
Thank you to everyone who supported and/or attended the event; it gave Coach Johnson and his family the honor and dignity he deserved.
Please continue keeping the Johnson family in your thoughts and prayers as they begin this new phase of life.
Paws up!

Austin Community College & SAS
Austin Community College and the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Department will be presenting at the March 26th Empower Hour for two information sessions:
Student Accessibility Services aims to provide equitable and effective access for students with documented disabilities to support their full participation in college classes and activities.
SAS staff assist students by identifying reasonable accommodations, establishing and coordinating accommodations, conducting one-on-one meetings in person, online, or by phone, providing access to Assistive Technology, offering disability-related problem-solving and advocacy, and providing information and referrals to additional ACC resources.
Please don't miss out on this amazing learning opportunity. Please share with families and other community partners.
