PTO Fundraiser - Tea Party Was a HUGE Success
Thank you to everyone who donated to our Tea Party Fundraiser. We were able to collect $944.60 to use towards STEM Day in May. There was a tie for top donations in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Mrs. Lynch and Mrs. Llamas' classes will both get an ice cream party and in 4-6th grade the winner of the party is Mrs. Boyer's.
Family Education Opportunities
1. Boise High School is hosting a Film Showing and Panel Event on the documentary Angst on March 27th from 5:30-7:30pm. This event is for families and suitable for children 10 years and older. There will be childcare for younger siblings. The event will start with families visiting community partner tables. The purpose of this film is to provide an understanding of anxiety especially in younger people, help people manage their symptoms, and to encourage those struggling with anxiety to reach out for help. To learn more about this event, please see this flyer or register here.
2. Deep Connections Event ~ The Boise School District is hosting with other local non-profits an event for parents about how creating deep connections is a key piece in suicide prevention. Please join us to listen to Dr. Skinner, Marriage and Family Therapist, for an evening of education and therapeutic support to empower and give you hope as you support your child's wellbeing. This will be held at South Junior High on April 18th from 5:30-7:30. For more information, see the flyer or register here.
Attendance
Supervision is provide on the playground starting at 8:45 a.m. so please do not drop your child off earlier than that.
Also, unless it is critical, please do not pick your child up early from school. It is disruptive to the classroom as well as the individual's learning.
Thank you for your cooperation with this.
