Riverview Report
Here's What's Happening at Riverview
Hello Riverview Families,
Welcome back to school! I hope you have enjoyed an amazing summer full of memories. As we begin a new year, I am looking forward to having our students back in the building, filling the hallways and classrooms with laughter and excitement. We have been under a lot of construction during the summer here at Riverview. Our new security doors are being installed along with other safety enhancements to the school. Our playground and parking lots were resurfaced, new interior and exterior cameras have been installed, and we have brand new wood chips on our playground. We are so grateful to the companies and district maintenance crews who have worked diligently on our summer projects. I have my fingers crossed that our security doors will be done before school starts, but that may not be a reality. I am just so grateful we are as far along on them as we are.
Only a few short weeks until school starts again and I wanted to get some important dates and information to you.
- Don't forget to pay your student donations when you register for school - $25 per student. Go to your iCampus account and click on "Fees." This pays for all supplies, materials, field trips, activities and much more.
- The date when parents can view their child's teacher in iCampus is Monday, August 7th. You will need to sign on to your parent portal to see them.

School dismisses at 3:00 pm Tuesday - Friday, and at 2:15 on Monday's.
- The first day of School for Kindergarten is Wednesday, August 23rd.
- We can't wait to see all of you!
I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for your continued support and partnership. My first year as principal of Riverview Elementary was amazing, and I know this year will be the same, if not better! Together, we can create an enriching and positive school environment for our students to thrive. We will be sending out more information as the school year approaches, so be sure to check your email and check our website often.
Enjoy these last weeks of summer! If I can help in any way, please reach out to me.
Thanks,
Ms. Poulson
