Next year schedule Requests
Students pre-enroll in the spring semester for the upcoming school year, and the master schedule will be based on that information. Students will be able to see and change their course requests pending availability through April 16 by contacting their counselor.
After this date, no course changes (including all CTE classes, core classes, and level changes) are allowed. Exceptions that will be allowed are athletics, band, choir, orchestra, color guard, drill team, debate, and Academic Decathlon. These must be requested by the 7th school day of the year.
Advanced and AP® classes may be dropped only at the 6 week mark of a course or at the end of the semester. AP Seminar (not AP Research) may only be dropped at semester. The decision to make a schedule change will need to be made between the teacher and parents in the best interest of the student. Students are required to follow campus procedures regarding schedule changes.
Multicultural Course Offerings
We are excited to announce 2 new Multicultural course options next year. These courses are open to 10th-12th grade students next year. If you are a current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student you will be eligible to take these courses if you wish. If you are interested in either of these courses, and have already met with your counselor for your course registration next year, you will need to email your counselor to discuss changing your schedule to add one of these courses. You can find the description of each class in the FISD Course Catalog
Please email your counselor if you would like to add either of these courses to your schedule next year.

Frisco Jr Womens League
Junior Frisco Women’s League (or “JrFWL”) is a program for Frisco-area high school women, sponsored by Frisco Women’s League. Members have city-wide service, social and leadership opportunities that teach personal growth, community involvement and achievement. We volunteer hundreds of hours every year and since 2013, our members have volunteered over 10,000 hours in the community.
Junior FWL members have unique access to community events, scholarship opportunities, leadership and skills training, and college application support. Our members are academic, athletic, and extracurricular leaders in their schools and in the community. We currently have 66 members that represent all of the FISD High Schools. Members participate in various service activities in the Frisco and Plano areas and attend monthly member meetings. Some of our community service partners are Frisco Fastpacs, FEF, Frisco Family Services and Children’s Medical Center Plano.
Our Mission
• Provide an exceptional co-curricular experience for Frisco students who want to grow as servant leaders
• Partner successfully with city, civic, and charitable organizations, to redefine the public perception of teen volunteers
• Serve the community and each other with grace, character, integrity, kindness, and leadership
Our annual application window this year starts March 13 and ends April 10 and is open to rising sophomores and juniors. If you have any students that you think would be a good fit for our organization we would love for you to share information with them on how to apply. Please direct students to our website www.jrfwl.org for information on how to join for the 2021-2022 school year.
