SEQUOYAH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Greetings from Mrs. Gabriel
Hello There!
I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your support of our students here at Sequoyah. Our PTO was able to bring in Basketball Jones for an assembly and he was WONDERFUL! He had a very engaging performance and talked to the students about the importance of reading, working hard, and being kind. Thank you, PTO, for always making these wonderful opportunities happen for our students!
I wanted to remind you that next Thursday is a half day of school, and there will be no school on Friday, marking the start of our spring break. School will resume on April 8th.
As we prepare for the break, please remember to give extra attention to washing coats, lunch boxes, bookbags, and other school items to help keep germs at bay. With the recent rise in illnesses, it's important to maintain a healthy environment for when we return.
Due to the short week ahead, there will be no Thunderbird Press next week. Therefore, I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a fantastic Spring Break! I hope the weather starts to cooperate, and you have a wonderful time with your families. Looking forward to seeing everyone back in April!
Have a great break!
