This Week's Focus
SOAR to New Goals
Intentionality Matters
We have to be intentional in taking control of our daily schedules and prioritizing the most powerful work. --Lead Like a Pirate
Revisit your schedule, ask yourself is this the best way to run my classroom? Am I able to use maximize the most of my time? What can I eliminate, what can I add?
Items to keep in mind during the weeks of 1/14-1/25
1. Miss Bequette students pledge this week will be 4th grade. Today is Mr. R's birthday! Happy Birthday.
Ms. Peterein kicks off STEM classes this Monday with 3rd Grade first group 8am.
2. Today I have a few observations and I need to fill in the office while Holly runs to the HS.
3. I would like for you to challenge yourself to reaching out to four parents a week for the next few weeks. This will allow for conversations to be held positive notes and possibly time appropriate for changes to occur for a better quarter. Don't forget to log your phone calls in IC.
4. Helen will be sending out a schedule for you to sign up for in class modeling. Please select a time for her to implement some of the strategies she has been teaching us.
5. Character Summit Thursday.
6. Choir Thursday
7. Spelling Bee Meeting after school on 1/15 for teacher representatives and those involved with the program.
6. BOE Meeting on 1/16
9. Little Reminders:
- Students should not come to PPU before the announcement by Mrs. Pope--this ensures we are outside ready for them.
- Remind your students to dispose of the trash from their snacks in the trash--not a corner of the room or shelf please.
- Drinks-please encourage water for their drinks in the classroom.
- Check the lost and found often, lots of expensive coats and hoodies are being left behind.
- Please refrain from gum chewing-this is a "sticky" situation when we have to clean the carpets.
