SkillsUSA Regional Competition
35 students from EMCC competed at the SkillsUSA Regional Competition recently at Alfred State. Students competed in career focused and leadership contests and 16 students placed in the top 3 in their event.5 students from EMCC competed at the SkillsUSA Regional Competition recently at Alfred State. Congratulations to these Titans who performed well at the competition.

ASVAB Exam for grades 10-12
The ASVAB exam is a multi aptitude exam for high school students that helps align your skills with your interests. This exam may help you explore future career goals. This is a free exam that is open to anyone in grades 10 through 12. The exam is on Saturday, March 16th at 9:00am here at Thomas. Pick up your registration form in the counseling center or at the link below.
Common Application for junior awards
Attention Juniors: The common application for junior college awards is now available in the counseling center. This application contains awards and scholarship money to colleges such as RIT, U of R, Clarkson and other area colleges. Pick up your application today in the counseling center. Deadline for completed applications is March 22, 2024.
Colleges visiting Thomas this spring
The following colleges are coming to Thomas starting at the end of February. D'Youville, Le Moyne, Embry Riddle Aeronautical and Morrisville. Sign up to visit them in the counseling center.
Teen Police Summer Academy
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office is holding their teen police academy this summer. This is a free week-long camp that consists of physical training, classroom instruction and reality-based training. Applications are available in the counseling center.
SUNY Geneseo - field trip for juniors
Attention Juniors: The counseling department is taking a field trip to SUNY Geneseo on Monday, March 18th .The visit includes a presentation, tour of the campus and lunch. Pick up your permission slip in the counseling center. Spots are limited.
SUNY Brockport - field trip for juniors
Attention Juniors: The counseling department is taking a field trip to SUNY Brockport on Wednesday, April 17th .The visit includes a presentation, tour of the campus and lunch. Pick up your permission slip in the counseling center. Spots are limited.
Rochester National College Fair
Rochester National College Fair is being held at the Riverside Center on Sunday March 17th from 1:00-3:00. More than 225 universities, colleges and schools will have a representative at this event so speak to. You may register to online: at https://www.nacacattend.org/24rochester
THS/OWL PTSA Information/Updates
A HUGE Thank You to EVERYONE who participated in and attended the charity basketball game on March 6!!! It was a GREAT night for a GREAT cause!!!
Special thanks to: our THS/OWL staff players, our staff captains Mrs. Drury & Mr. Suff, the Challenger players & staff, our game referee Officer Herrle, our scoring table operator Mrs. Marcello, our event emcee Mr. “Hotdog” Phares, all our student halftime participants, all our student & adult volunteers, the game chaperone, security & custodial staff, and our kitchen manager Mrs. Pusateri!
Our St. Patrick’s Day Hot Cocoa morning will be held on Friday March 15!

Please take your returnables to Can Kings located at 1183 Bay Road in Webster! Label your container with: Thomas PTSA & hand it to the attendants!
BRAVO cards will be available at all musical events again this year! Write a special note for your performer which will be specially delivered to them in school!

Without an executive committee, the building will “go dark” and no PTSA sponsored events, such as the sale of Titan/OWL wear, Bravo cards & hot cocoa mornings, will not be able to take place!
