Students Love BeeBots
BeeBot Robots are all the rage among the D103’s youngest population at Sprague. Instructional Technology Coach Simon Vasey is using these engaging robots to introduce basic computer science concepts with kindergartners. Students are exploring how a sequence of instructions can control the BeeBot. Although students require perseverance when coding the robots, there is a lot of excitement when they succeed, Mr. Vasey said.
Sprague School was awarded a grant from the ECMC Foundation in the amount of $5,000 to purchase Kibo and Dash robots and accessories for design and engineering projects to further STEM-related learning.
