Eighth Grade Parents and Students
Last Day to Turn in Photos is April 30th
We are preparing for the 8th grade promotion that will take place at Ozaukee Middle School on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 6:00 PM in the Fine Arts Center. As part of the evening, we have the tradition of running a slideshow of the 8th graders’ pictures.
This is where we are requesting your help. We created a Google Classroom for the night of promotion. Each student is responsible for uploading one baby photo and one current photo onto the page shared in Google Classroom. The baby picture can be from two years of age and younger.
Please only add the photos to the slide and do not alter the background, colors, font, etc. or add filters to photos. Our committee will be responsible for all formatting needs within the slideshow. School pictures are also available as a current photo. Please message in Google Classroom if a school picture is needed. Finally, this is a formal event with many guests, so photos should be appropriate for the occasion.
We kindly ask that you upload your child’s photos onto the slide no later than Tuesday, April 30th and then turn it in. This gives our committee time to finalize the slideshow.
Your child has access to the slide in Google Classroom, so you will have to work together to upload the photos. If you do not have internet access at home, your child can upload the photos here at school during recess or homeroom.
If you are in need of support, we have several eighth graders that are available to upload your photos into the slideshow. We would just need you to send the printed photo or email an electronic version to Mrs. Henke in the office. We can take it from there.
Thank you and we look forward to a great celebration!
