Online Worship and Schedule Changes
March 13, 2020
From Rev. Mary - Worship is Online!
Starting this Sunday and through April, we will be offering worship on-line only.
PLEASE do not come to OUUC for services on Sunday morning! Join us online!
On Sunday, March 15, we will live stream services at the usual times of 9:15 and 11:00 am. Starting Sunday, March 22, we will offer one service at 10:00 am followed by Family Serves at 11:00 am. All will be online only!
Families! This Sunday, March 15, we invite you to join the on-line worship for the beginning of the service through the story, just like you would if you were at OUUC in person. Sara has an amazing story ready for us! Sara will send out some things that you can do for RE at home. So, worship with us on-line at 9:15 or 11:00 am through the story, then do RE at home.
Next Sunday, March 22, we will offer on-line worship at 10:00 am and Family Worship at 11:00 am. We’ll hold the Children’s Annual Meeting on March 22 rather than on March 15 as originally planned.
Parents! Please let us know how we can support you and your families at this time. Sara and I will be in our Zoom Room at 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 15 to hear your thoughts and requests. Sara will send out the Zoom link along with the Sunday at-home RE resources. Please join us!
We know that our city, county, and state are in mitigation mode, trying the prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The best way to do this is to limit in-person contact. We are doing our part by offering on-line options for worship and meetings. Let’s all do our part!
Here’s what you can do:
- Stay home and stay well.
- Download the free Zoom app or software on your computer, tablet and/or phone. There are many resources to help you do this on the OUUC website and in this communication.
- Stay connected! Social distancing doesn’t mean social isolation. Connect with OUUC events through Zoom. Stay connected with friends and family, too. And, connect with your neighbors.
- If you are hosting or responsible for a meeting or event at OUUC, please take it online or reschedule. OUUC staff will happily help you with what is needed for technology and communication.
- If you are out and in contact with people, practice good etiquette and social distancing.
- We will continue to post accurate information about COVID-19 and OUUC events on our website. Check it often.
This is a time to stay spiritually grounded and connected to community. Taking care of ourselves means taking care of each other.
Please stay home. Please stay well. Please stay connected. See you in the Zoom Room!

The calendar will be updated as information becomes available.

The Radford family has decided to postpone the celebration of life for Rob Radford which was scheduled for March 21, 2020. The new date is yet to be determined. The memorial services team thanks everyone who volunteered to help with the reception and hopes that you will be willing to help when the celebration is scheduled. Thank you.
