Engagement with Story Maps!
Miss Lahmann was utilizing a story map organizer to help students summarize effectively. Her scaffolded approach keeps them all engaged and support their understanding of the process. Summarizing is a tested skill. Miss Lahmann realized grades K-2 prepare students for the 3rd grade NeSA-ELA. This is a collective process. It takes a TEAM!

POSITIVITY!
Mrs. Stark created a bulletin board in the Positive Action Center. A key part of a successful PAC room is to build relationships and to develop confidence in the students' abilities by re-teaching valuable life skills with positive interventions. The bulletin board snapped above sets a positive tone to working in the PAC!
