FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT SUGGESTIONS
To help families spend time together and share common experiences, The Leadership Institute of the Diocese of Bridgeport provides recommendations for Family Movie Night. Each week, a new movie recommendation and explanation are available for your consideration. Click here for recent suggestions, including this week's suggestion, "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe."
To escape the bombings in London during World War II, four young siblings evacuate to an old professor’s country estate, where the youngest unexpectedly discovers a magical wardrobe that serves as a portal to the land of Narnia. Based on the beloved novel C.S. Lewis, this vibrant adaptation brings the world of Narnia to life with an exciting fantasy adventure about courage, family, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. With themes of sacrifice and resurrection, the story is famous for its clear Christian allegory, especially relevant with Easter on the horizon.
