Halloween Party!!
We will be having a Halloween party on the October, 31 at 2:30. You are welcome to send a party snack to school with your student. Healthy Halloween snacks are always appreciated.
Writing
This week we will be analyzing my new favorite text and use this text as a spring board to a fun creative writing project. We will use this fun essay to build on the narrative text skills we developed in our "Time I Relish" essay and to delve heavily into the proper use of commas! I could not be more excited to share with the class my new favorite book.
Math/Science
This week in science we will be continuing to explore the necessary components to make a circuit. We will have a math vocabulary tie-in to this project as we will be making fun quiz sheets! What do these two things have to do with one another? You will find out!
Please send your student in with 4 AA or AAA batteries if possible. Thank you!
Challenge Question!
What is this? What does it do? How would you use it? Write it out and turn it in for some excellent extra credit prizes! Only scholars who answer all three questions will get the prize!
