We are going to compare and contrast two different fiction books, but on the same topic. I bet you are wondering what the topic is.......it is the gingerbread man. In reading we have also been working on character traits. Character traits is what a character is feeling or like on the inside.

Students LOVED getting to "taste" lots of books at our class book tasting event this past Monday. Students explored different genres, authors, and books and practiced asking questions as they read.

We are learning about presidents and voting for presidents. When we voted in 2nd grade, we voted for specials. PE won!
We had a fun election day full of voting, listening to patriotic music, and sharing what we would do if elected president.
