We need one more volunteer to drive a group of students to and from Capri Cosmetology on December 14. We will leave school at 9:10 am, return to school by 11:00 am. A teacher will accompany the group. Volunteers are welcome to stay. Kids will tour the college, learn what a cosmetologist does, and get a free manicure. These will be 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. We won’t know the names of the students until after break. If you are able to drive, please reply to this e-mail. Include number of students that will fit in your vehicle.
If you are unable to volunteer, please feel free to ask a grandparent or other family member. Thank you for your support.
Note: Volunteers must have a volunteer disclosure statement card and/or driver statement card on file. These can be completed at the school and only need to be completed once. Jackie Mason will contact you if you do not have one on file prior to the event.

Money from the Hy-Vee Cash 4 Student program is used towards purchasing items for the bear paw store. For those new to McKinley, we believe in acknowledging students for exemplifying the BEAR way. Our positive acknowledgement system centers on the use of BEAR paws. Students can use BEAR paws for various incentives including pizza parties on Friday’s as well as purchasing items at the BEAR paw store.
