Services for disabilities
This technology lab has services for different types of disabilities like learning disabilities, visual impairment, and mobility impairment.
Powerbraille Braille 80
This device is an 80-cell refreshable Braille display that can be used with or just as an alternative voice output. This can help students with reading what they type and to be able to move around on the computer screen.
Zoom text Extra
This is a screen magnification software which magnifies text and images that are shown on the screen. This software is available for Mac computers.
MCC Full Color TV
This device is used for the visual impaired. You are able to place reading material under the TV screen where the scanner can read it. It magnifies the text on the screen. The board that the reading material is on can move to get to the parts you want to read.
Intellikeys keyboard
This large character keyboard with optional key guard that is used by individuals with mobility impairment. This key board gives students who can not type very well on a normal key board a chance to use one that might be easier on them.

Ipads have useful apps too!
This is an app for iPads for visually or hearing impaired children. It is a great learning tool on how to create sentences and phrases. One option is a voice output that speaks what you type in. This is a great app to have.
