Tremendous Tuna

Introduction
You spot a 4-inch squid near you. He does not sense your presence, and does not notice you as you sneak up closer. Suddenly, Whoosh! You dart as fast as you can towards the innocent prey, and swallow up the ocean creature. Proud of your achievement, you swim slowly to a trio of tiny fish… the tuna, an amazing creature, which is in the family of Scombridae, has many attributes, such as a big habitat, speedy movement, an incredible body structure and appearance, and interesting diet, which make this animal one of a kind.
How do I look?
Picture it. The exceedingly pretty silvery lower sections, the attractive darker prime, and the beautiful shine. The majestic tuna is an elegance to behold. Despite the fact that this is the classic Thunnini (scientific name), appearances of some of these fishes vary. For instance, the Yellowfin, a species of tuna that lives up to its name, look more yellow than other types of tuna. The flesh of tuna isn’t the color of a normal fish's flesh, which is white. Instead, it is pink or dark red. The average tuna varies, but some tuna are 6.5 feet. Thats a greater length than an average 11 year old! This fish can also be 550 pounds! Thats a greater weight than 7 average 10 year olds combined! Did you know that a tuna was once recorded to be 21 feet and 1,600 pounds! This organism is certainly different from other organisms, since it has a developed body structure of blood vessels that help to maintain its blood pressure, normally between 5 and 12 celsius. And unlike other fishes, tunny (nickname for tuna) are sleek and streamlined. And unlike other fish, tuna have crescent-shaped and forked tails, a rounded body, a thin tail base, small finlets behind its anal and dorsal fins, But in contrast, they have large scales on their shoulder region. However, tuna are not only different from other fish, but they are different from each other. For example, the Skipjack tuna is about 3 feet, and 23 kg, but the BLuefin tuna, on the other hand weighs about 800 kg. In conclusion, tuna are a wonderful and unique species of fish.
The Aquatic Flash
The tuna is an extremely fast organism. In fact, some people have seen it swim up to 77 kilometers per hour! The tuna is a migratory species, which means it swims all over the world’s oceans. A tuna, like other fish, uses its fins to get around the worlds oceans. One characteristic that helps the tuna swim very fast is it’s appearance, sleek and streamlined. Also, the unique arrangement of veins and arteries within this animal’s body warms it’s blood, which, in addition, helps this migratory species swim very rapidly. These blood vessels inside the tuna increase this spectacles strength, which allows it to swim constantly. Amazingly, the tunny, when migrating, tend to migrate with other fish around its size. This animal, being a migratory species, are also caught in fishing nets worldwide. Tuna migrate to lay eggs. But when two tuna of opposite genders mate and lay eggs, only about 2 of the 30,000,000 eggs the female tuna lays survive until adulthood.
Whats for Dinner?
The tuna has a large appetite. It eats fishes squid, crab larvae, crustaceans, shellfish, and lots of types of planktonic organisms. It eats prey mostly from 1.5 inches to 6 inches , and often look at the ocean surface to look for a snack, even though it can go 3,000 ft underwater to find a munch! This animal is an omnivore, which means it eats meat and can eat plants The tuna is able to catch its prey with its speed, thanks to its body structure. It is surprising that despite seeming nothing like a hammerhead shark or dolphin, the tuna is actually high in the food chain! However, the tuna will also be eaten by sharks, orca whales, and humans. Additionally, there are ways fish get food unnaturally as well. For example, fish farms, fish that are mostly kept by fishermen, keep tuna in captivity, and feed them until they are fully mature, which is when the organism is consumed.
Closing
The tuna is a simply magnificent creature. For one, it lives in a HUGE habitat, and is adapted for speed. Plus, it has a superb body structure and appearance, and a tasty diet. From what you have learned, I am sure you have realized that tuna are simply a splendid species of aquatic cold-blooded vertebrates. However, this fish is dying since people keep over fishing this already-endangered animal. You can make an impact that will help tuna by eating lesser of these wonders.
Go Fish
While making my aquarium, I learned many lessons, used many fish, and was able to go under budget. One lesson I learned was that it is sometimes good to make changes. For example, when I finished my aquarium, I was slightly over budget. So I decided to go back and buy lesser objects so the amount of money I spent would be below $250. I also learned that necessities are more important than desires. While making my aquarium, I had to not-buy a few desires to get my necessities, such as when I bought lesser fake aquatic rocks to afford gravel. In my aquarium, I put two green mandarin gobies, and two Elephant-ear Delta Tail Betta, since they look very interesting and attractive. I also bought one blue damsel, and one Domino Damsel, because of their cheap price. When I bought all of my fish, I spent $67.22. And when I bought all my necessities, and decorations, I spent $179.86, including tax. In the end, I had $2.92 left. The amount of inches of my fish put end to end was 7.25 inches. So my fish will need 7 gallons and one quart of water. However, I used a 20-gallon tank, which means that my imaginary fish will have extra roaming space! In conclusion, the Go FIsh was a fun and memorable experience for me.
