Temperate forests correspond to forest concentration formed in the northern and southern hemisphere, or in temperate regions. Main characteristics include: wide leaves, large and tall trees and non seasonal vegetation.The average temperature in temperate deciduous forests is 50°F. Summers are mild, and average about 70°F , while winter temperatures are often well below freezing.The chipmunk is brown are striped squirrel.
