Whole Troop News
- Next Meeting: November 18, 2015
- It's the time of year we all reflect on the things we are grateful for. We, as leaders, are grateful that you and your daughter/s come to learn and laugh with us every week. We are so blessed to be a part of this group, and we thank you.
- We hope you will all join us for a Thanksgiving potluck at our meeting on the 18th. Please fill out the survey below so we can be prepared!
November & December
We wanted to share with you the plan for the next few months:
In November, we want to look at Thanksgiving with a more socially progressive, compassionate viewpoint. Our goal is not to put a negative spin on the holiday, but to be more honest, open, and inclusive in our celebrations. We will talk about the Native Americans, the Pilgrims, as well as using the opportunity to talk about making healthy meal choices. To this end, our upcoming calendar will look something like this:
Nov 11 - Talk about Thanksgiving & healthy food choices, make invitations
Nov 18 - Thanksgiving potluck
Nov 25 - No meeting for the Thanksgiving break
Dec 2 - Regular meeting
Dec 9 - Regular meeting
Dec 16 - Christmas Party
Dec 23 - No meeting for the winter break
Dec 30 - No meeting for the winter break
