HFRCS Newsletter April 23, 2024
SY 2023-2024 - Vol.3 Issue 34
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are now at the midpoint of the last trimester of the school year! Time certainly moves fast, and it will really speed along between now and the last day of school. Please be sure to check your child’s grades in FACTS and reach out to your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns. It is important for all our students to continue to work hard and finish the year strong!
On Saturday morning, students from our current 8th grade and students from HFRCS Class of 2022 came together to plant the Danica Memorial Garden. The garden is dedicated to Danica Mulholland, a Holy Family student, who would have been a member of this year’s graduating class. The students from HFRCS Class of 2022 spearheaded the fundraising for the garden during their 8th grade year, when Danica was in the last stages of her illness. Danica sadly passed away from brain cancer on February 23, 2022. To preserve her memory here at Holy Family, the Memorial Garden will serve as a reminder of Danica’s great love of learning and joy for life. A formal dedication is planned for Friday, May 10 at 2:00 PM. Please see today’s newsletter for more information.
As we look ahead, our 8th grade will be sponsoring their annual school-wide Bingo Day on Friday, May 3. This year’s theme is The Wild West, and students are invited to participate in a $1 western-themed dress down on that day. More information on Bingo Day will be coming home soon, stay tuned!
Just as a reminder, there will be NO SCHOOL this Friday, April 26 for a teacher professional development day.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty
We are a family of FAITH!
Remember to go to Mass this weekend.
