Our 7th grade students are doing a wonderful job. We are now using our music theory skills to sight-sing short passages of music each day. We have just started learning about dynamic terms and symbols. Ask students about these Italian terms! Next week, we will begin studying the Baroque Period in music history and composer, George Frederic Handel. Two daily grades will be taken during the week; one about dynamic terms and another about music history.
