The Mustang Memo!
Madrona Elementary School - April 15, 2024
A message from Mrs. Mandell
Hello Mustang Families,
We are excited to bring you another week filled with enriching events and opportunities for connection. On Tuesday evening at 7:00PM, join us at the Civic Arts Plaza as our talented Madrona Strings ensemble takes the stage to showcase their musical talents. It promises to be an evening of delightful melodies and community celebration.
This week, our 4th and 5th graders will embark on an exciting journey to the TO High Performing Arts Center. They will have the chance to immerse themselves in the world of arts and culture through live performance and experience the excitement of the arts in our CVUSD schools. Also, 5th grade Mustangs will visit Redwood Middle School. This helps to familiarize them with the learning environment and see all that middle school has to offer.
Our Madrona PTA sponsored Movie Night is Friday at 7:30 PM. Gather your family and friends for a fun-filled movie night hosted by the Madrona PTA. Enjoy popcorn, refreshments, and a great film under the stars. It's the perfect way to kick off the weekend! All students must be accompanied by a an adult for this event.
Lastly, we are preparing for a busy Earth week April 22nd -April 26th. Our Madrona PTA sponsored classroom recycling contest is here and we are reducing landfill waste by holding our 1st Annual recycled Madrona Spirit Wear Drive. See flyers below and more information coming soon!
We hope to see you around campus as we continue to build a strong and vibrant community here at Madrona Elementary School. To all our Mustangs, Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Prepared.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Mandell
