You should've seen their faces as Mrs. Wright took their photos in a cap and gown for the hallway display, they were beaming with pride. She even allowed them to wear her medal she wore as Salutatorian for her school. These students will also be rewarded with a special treat. Hopefully, this initiative will spark more interest in the program, and help with student behavior. Talk it up!
Student Attendance
- Green - Good attendance
- Yellow - Fair attendance
- Red - Poor attendance
Please keep in mind as you read the chart, teachers that have a 0 in their cell for a day means that they were absent, and their students were dispersed amongst the other classes due to their being no sub (you will see that the other classes will have a higher count on those days). If the cell was left blank, then the student sign-in sheets were not turned in for that day. Please check your papers to see if you have any sheets to turn in.
**Make sure you allow WINGS students to sign in/out when they are brought to your class at 3:00 p.m.
Ms. Wright and I are doing the work on our end to fill up the empty slots with students who are on the waiting list, by looking through the registration forms and calling parents. Please check the One Drive group for updates with rosters.
We need you all to help out on your end by building connections with the students and encouraging them to attend each week. Also, try to plan engaging activities for the students to motivate them to come! This program won't work effectively if we keep exiting/entering new students each week. We need some consistency to see growth!
