The Details
On April 14, 1865 the President Abraham was assassinated in a booth at Fords Theater by John Wilkes Booth a very well known actor at this time. Then jumps onto the stage and goes out back where his horse is waiting for him being held by John "Peanut" the peanut guy at Fords Theater who is close with the well known and respected actor John Wilkes Booth.

John Wilkes Booth sneaks in the booth and shots the president in the back of the head the bullet goes through the brain and 3 inches from his eye.

John Wilkes Booth had a plan of escape. but this escape may not of worked how he wanted he thought he had I planned out but the word of his doings eventually caught up to him and he couldn't get away.

The media didn't make it easy for John Wilkes Booth the people wanted him found and posters and picture were posted and passed to help find the killer.
His attempt to escape
This was where John Wilkes Booth went after he killed the president. This was his trail to try to escape until he was found.
