FROM THE OFFICE
Please, remember to send your child/ren to School with a WATER BOTTLE.
Dismissal: Please remember that each day Monday - Friday, our school dismissal will be at 2pm for all grades.
- Mass in-person: On Wednesdays, we will not have a Comprehensive Catholic Distance Learning office hour time. Also starting on April 14th, we will start attending Mass on Wednesday each week. We will attend one grade level at a time. Our St. Agatha scholars and faculty will be the only group in the parish on Wednesdays. Our Mass time will be from 8:15-9:00. Grade levels not attending Mass in person will continue to celebrate the Mass in the classroom with the prior week’s recording. A huge thank you to our parishioners and Fr. Luan, for supporting us in limiting the Wednesday Mass to our scholars and faculty only to promote our health and well-being. Our 8th graders will start attending Mass on April 14th. We will send home a set Mass schedule this week. We are not requiring the Mass uniform for the remainder of this school year. Students may continue to wear the regular daily uniform, neatly pressed, but no shorts please. Thank you!
Supply pick up: please come at the front door, on 15th Ave, from 9 to 3:30pm. We will hand you your child's bag. Thank you.
- IF YOUR CHILD IS WALKING HOME AT SCHOOL DISMISSAL
Also, please remember to contact the school office and provide written permission if your child will be going home with a friend or picked up by another individual.
COVID-19 SYMPTOMS:
If your child or family member has any symptoms related to Covid-19 keep your child(ren) at home. We need everyone to commit to this protocol to ensure the health and safety of our students and their families, and our faculty/staff and their families. If you find yourself in this situation please inform the school office promptly. We will guide you through the next steps according to the Exclusion Summary Chart for Covid-19 (picture below).
MINOR 1-3 DAY ILLNESS:
If your child will be absent for reasons other than Covid-related health concerns, or with a minor 1-3 day illness, please follow the guidelines starting on page 63- Student Illness in our handbook. If your child is home ill with a minor 1-3 day illness they should not Zoom in to class. Their body needs to rest so they can get better and return to school. The days they are home would be counted as excused absences and your child(ren) will have time to makeup the school work when they return.
IT'S SUMMER CAMP TIME!!!
COVID SCHOOL GUIDELINES
They also eliminated the 35 square feet per child requirement in the classroom.
This is great news for our school.
Please note that while this change does reduce the amount of physical distancing required we will still promote as much distancing as possible.
