PTA
The mission of the Ida B. Wells PTA is to keep parents informed, support teachers, advocate for the Ida B. Wells community, and fund teacher grants and academic programs.
Join us for our final 2023-24 meeting on May 8th!
IBW PTA needs your help! We are looking for people to help us fill board and committee roles for 2024-25. Duties are divided so that most positions involve a time commitment of only 2-5 hours/month, with meetings about every other month (see general duties listed below). Even though there are many positions open, several current board and committee members will still be involved with the PTA next year and can help with role transitions.
Participating in our PTA is a way to directly support academic programs, teachers, and the popular grad night party. It's also a great way to connect with other IBW parents. We would love to be able to fill all the positions this spring and get off to a running start next school year!
Interested or questions? Email Julie Worley at idabwellspta@gmail.com. Know of another parent you think would be a great addition to the PTA? Please forward this email.
Thanks for your consideration!
