My Sister Needs A Kidney...
Living Donor Needed to Save My Sister's Life
The Big Ask...
Jayne's kidneys began to fail when my nephew was a baby. Her kidney function grew progressively worse--until her kidneys failed completely about 18 months ago. She began peritoneal dialysis in 2017, and must perform 10-hour treatments each night to stay alive.
Jayne desperately needs a new kidney.
The Big Give...
Jayne Ifekwunigwe is registered at the Duke University Kidney Transplant Center. Prospective donors at Duke are evaluated for their fitness to become donors. There is a brief survey for prospective donors. (It took me approximately 10 minutes to complete.) .
IMPORTANT: If you choose to complete the survey, please make sure you name Jayne Ifekwunigwe as the prospective recipient. Jayne’s insurance will cover all medical costs associated with the transplant. Our family can help with transportation and other costs not covered by insurance.
