School Library Week
April 12-18, 2015
This Year's Theme is "Unlimited Possibilities at Your Library."
Fun! Treats! PRIZES!
Fine Forgiveness
Bring in one can of food during Library Week to get 50 cents taken off of your library fines (does NOT apply to lost book costs). You must turn in food by Thursday, April 16 to qualify for fine forgiveness. All food will be donated to the Bristol Emergency Food Pantry.
Check Out Books, Win a Prize
Check a book out, turn one in, or pay a fine during this week to be entered to win an Amazon Kindle! The winner will be announced on Monday, April 20.
Teacher Day: April 15
Teachers, complete a brief survey and be entered to win an Amazon gift card! We will also have doughnuts for you today.
Blind Date with a Book
Don't judge a book by its cover; in fact, don't even look at it. Rate your date using our bookmark template and be entered to win a prize! Wrapped books will be available all week.
Make a Shelf Talker
Do you have a favorite book that you'd like to share with the world? Promote it by making a shelf talker! We will work on these during club time on April 14, but you may see a librarian at any time for details and templates. Teachers may participate, too. All participants will be entered to win a book of their choice.
Deadline: Thursday, April 16 by the end of the day for prize entry, but we will accept these all month.
