Boosting Brains in Reading & Math
It's time for One Richmond One Book!
All Chimborazo students will receive a copy of the book, a bookmark, and the reading schedule so that everyone can enjoy this book together. A parent letter and the reading schedule will be sent home in the Tuesday folder on October 1.
Have fun discussing these questions at home:
Chapter One - Discuss a time any of you have felt out of place. How did you handle it?
Chapter Five - Is it ever okay to break a deal, especially one similar to what Jessie, Evan, and Scott signed? Why or why not?
Chapter Eleven - Discuss the importance of telling the whole truth and not just part of the truth.

Reflex Math
Reflex is the most effective system for mastering basic facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division for grades 2+. Reflex Math is adaptive and individualized.
Full of games that students love, Reflex takes students at every level and helps them quickly gain math fact fluency and confidence. Educators and parents love the powerful reporting that allows them to monitor progress and celebrate success.
Parents: Is your child enjoying reflex math at home? We hope so because there will be a reflex math challenge later this month. Your child is encouraged to be on Reflex for about 20 minutes a day to increase their math fluency.
