Political
Morocco's government is a Constitutional Monarchy and the Head of the Government is the Prime Minister, Abdelilah Benkirane. The capital city is Rabat, and their independence day is March 2nd. Their independence day was established in 1956. They have to be eighteen years old to be able to vote. In 2011, a new constitution was approved.
Economic
The Moroccan dirham is their currency. In their liberal Economy, they have three main labor forces. %44.6 Agriculture, %19.8 Industry, and %35.5 services. Morocco has a GDP per capita of $5,500. Some of their many major industries include phosphates, rock mining, food processing, leather goods, textiles, construction, and tourism. They have an unemployment rate of %8.8.
Geographic
Morocco is located on the North West of Africa. Their West border is next to the Atlantic ocean and the Northern border touches the Strait of Gibraltar. However, they have one transportation barrier, and that is the Atlas Mountains. They have mild winters and warm, hot summers. Their rainy season lasts from October to April. Some of their many Natural Resources include phosphates, iron ore, manganese, lead, zinc, fish and salt. They have a total area of 172,414 square miles
Social
Some of Morocco's ethnic groups include Imagzighen and Arabs. Morocco's religion is not very diversed with %99 Muslim and %1 Christians. Some of their languages include Derija and Arabic. Some of Morocco's most popular foods is couscous and Taijine. Some of their holidays are nine month long Ramadan, Aid Sghir, and Lekber. As one of Moroccan's sacrifices, they see a sheep get slaughtered.
