Giovanni da Verrazzano was sent to search for the pacific ocean near eastern North America but is widely believed to be the first European to discover Manhattan, Staten Island, and the Delaware and Virginia capes. Verrazzano was born in 1485 france and started setting sals in 1524 to the atlantic caste of North America and died and was eaten by cannibals in 1525.the reason for this voges where to find new land which he did until well let’s keep stuff happy. his voyages were important because the french needed a new trade route to Aisa. Some of his accomplishments he found New York and Newfoundland.
Verrazzano was born in 1485 and died in 1525. And lived till he was about 43 years old. Exploration has changed because back in 1524 they had a huge sailboat, a compass, a map and the stairs. Now we have speedboats, helicopters, plains, google maps, G.P.S., and sumerians. So as you can see exporting has changed a lot.
