How did Cao Dai start? What is it like today?
A civil servant of the government in Vietnam began to receive messages from a spirit called Duc Cao Dai, whom he believed to be God. After three years of studying and worshipping God, he shared his spiritual discoveries with others. Cao Dai is the same it was when it was discovered. They practice it and worship there god the same.
Beliefs of Cao Dai.
are Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism. Caodaist's ultimate goal is to reunify everyone with each other. The eye to the top right is Faith and Unity, similar to the text Caodaism is based off of. The people of this religion believe that Cao Dai is syncrestic, or that oll other religions are the same. Some for example are Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism.
