News you can use:
Wondering about iPads and the need for insurance? At the elementary level there is no need for parents to purchase insurance for the iPads. K-5 iPads do not go home with learners and are kept locked up at Lakeside. Learners are expected to handle devices appropriately at all times.
Special Friends Day is Coming
- Please mark your calendar for September 28th
- We will send a schedule for the day and an opportunity to pre-register in the coming weeks
- NEW pre-registration guidelines will be shared in the coming weeks as well
- All visitors will need to bring a license when visiting Lakeside

If your child is a bus rider it is imperative that you communicate any changes to their dismissal routine (with the front office) no later than 10am. If we are not made aware of changes then your child will ride the bus daily.

Destination Imagination
DI Information Session is open to K-5 families interested in learning more about the program where learners get the opportunity to work in teams on research projects and competing at different levels. The session will also include a fun activity and a mystery prize for learners. If you are interested in learning more about DI then please join us on Wednesday, September 12th from 6-7pm.

ALL VOLUNTEERS and CLASS CHAPERONES MUST COMPLETE A NEW BACKGROUND CHECK EVERY YEAR! Here is a link to the Background Check. Please complete it now so that you are cleared for the year.
