Endeavour Elementary
Eagle News - Vol. 2 - November 1, 2023
From the Principal's Desk
Dear Families,
It was awesome to see so many of you at Boo Bash last Friday! What an amazing turnout. A HUGE thank you to our dedicated PTA who volunteer their time, creativity and heart to make such fun, memorable events for our school community.
Don't forget! It's not too late to participate in the PTA fund raiser. They currently have raised over $13,000. I hear that if we meet the $20,000 goal, I will be dying my hair blue or green. Yikes! :) Please visit the PTA website under "volunteer and support" for more information.
With gratitude,
Tamara

Please send in a hard copy of a photo (not an original). Photos do not need to be of service people in uniform, or in color. Along with the photo, please include: Veteran’s name, student’s name, Veteran’s relationship to student, and branch of service.
ALL PHOTOS NEED TO BE SENT TO SCHOOL BY TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH.
Coffee with the Principal

Golden Feather Award!
Our Golden Feather Award is given each month to an Endeavour classified staff member who goes above and beyond for our school community. Our Golden Feather Award winner this month was given to our amazing Registrar, Miss Lizzie! Miss Lizzie is a bright light at Endeavour, and spreads joy and kindness to students, families and staff.
This is what two of our students had to say about her:
- Liam: "Ms. Lizzie, you are a good office teacher. I appreciate all you do for us."
- Brooklyn: "I feel like you’re my friend, Ms. Lizzie. Thank you for always being there for me. I love you."
Endeavour is GRATEFUL for Miss Lizzie!
Attendance
Let us know!
If you need to report an absence, tardy, or early dismissal, call our office at 425-366-2800, utilize the attendance line at 425-366-2801 or email us!
Please note that teachers do not always have the opportunity to inform the office that your child is going to be absent. Please include office staff on all attendance emails to teachers.
If you are planning an extended absence, a Pre-arranged form must be completed and returned at least one week prior to your child's planned absence. Please email So-Jung Park, Dean of Students, for more information on policies and how to complete the form.
Tips for Success!
- Set a regular bedtime and morning routine
- Lay out clothes and pack backpacks the night before
- Develop backup plans for getting to school if something comes up. Call a family member, a neighbor, or another parent.
- Try scheduling medical appointments and extended trips when school isn’t in session
- If your child seems anxious about going to school, talk to teachers, school counselors and other parents for advice on how to make your child feel comfortable and excited about learning
