Salmon's Week 26 Update
March 29th - April 6th
Subaru Car Raffle - May 5th
Overview
Science - 4th Graders will be finishing up our unit on earthquakes, volcanoes and plates. We will begin our unit on weather after we wrap up. All 4th graders that have signed up for the science fair on April 27th should continue to work on this project.
Social Studies - We have started the Mountain Region and have learned so much. We will slow it down and focus in on Lewis and Clark during the next few weeks. This topic is such an important part of Montana history that we feel it is worth the time we will spend on it.
Writing - We are transitioning from informational writing into research writing. The slight difference is that now the students will be expected to not only write about a topic but complete research on the topic. We will begin with a small project with volcanoes.
Science Fair and "Fun-draiser"
Save the date for a night of Science and Fun. Friday, April 27th Ridge View 4th Graders will be participating in the first annual Science Fair. In addition, a fund-raising will be going on with All You Can Jump Inflatables from 6-8:00pm. This is open to all ages and all individuals in Belgrade. Our goal is to purchase LEGO Robotics Kits for the Ridge View Classrooms.
Preorder your wrist band the week before to enjoy in the fun. $5.00 per person for all you can jump. Come support our young scientist and have a night of fun.
